The Best Garden Fertilizers

If you want to know what the best garden fertilizers are for growing your perfect garden, I found a great site that talks about how to use natural substances like compost and manure to obtain the best looking and eating vegetables you could ever eat.

You don’t want to use chemical fertilizers because it is like putting your plants on drugs that do nothing to help the soil and in fact, creates a bad environment for the plants.

There are many natural substances that will help your plants grow in their best environment like different trace elements that are mixed for a balanced formula. There are quick release fertilizers that speed the decomposition of plant waste material.

Thought for the Day

A WISE MAN WATCHES HIS FAULTS MORE CLOSELY THAN HIS VIRTUES; FOOLS REVERSE THE ORDER.

We all have within us the potential for greatness or for failure. Both possibilities are an innate part of our character. Whether we reach for the stars or plunge to the depths of despair depends in large measure on how we manage our positive and negative potential. It is doubtful that, if left unchecked, your virtues will rage out of control. Unfortunately, the reverse is not true about your faults. Left unattended, faults have a way of multiplying until they eventually choke out your good qualities. The surest way to control your faults is to attack them the moment they appear.

We all know that we have faults whether we believe it or not. We all have to answer to a higher self eventually. Do we want to be whole and alive when we leave this planet or do we want to be sorry for the life we have lived here on this earth? Our goal should be to live a fulfilled, grateful life filled with love, peace, happiness and harmony. The way to live this kind of life is to ask God, our Creator,  to take us there each and every day. Wake up to who you are and ask what more you can become.

As children, the vast majority were at one point in time taught about God, His heaven, His creation and how we came to be here. It's unfortunate and sad that these values were not instilled in many. As we evolved  through the stages that took us forward into adult life, capable of making our own decisions, how much of those early teachings have remained with us? Funny how things change, how are worlds change, how material things have now grown into something that control our world leaving the early teachings just a distant memory.

Easy Thanksgiving Turkey Receipe

I found an informative website for cooking turkeys. It talks about how you can season and prepare your Thanksgiving turkey. They mention a website for seasoning the bird called ReceipeZaar.com and say you can use the same receipe for a pork roast.

There are different options or ways to make the turkey like roasting it at a high temperature. A meat thermometer should be used while cooking the turkey so that you don't over cook or undercook it. The temperature should be over 140 degrees fahrenheit.

A new option is to cook the turkey in a crockpot that you can add vegtables to that will turn out quite moist and you'll have a complete meal along with it. For further information, go to:

How to Have a Great Day

Have you ever wondered how to start your day feeling great and ready to conquer the world? Every day I wake up to asking for thanks for all that I have and all that I wish to have in the future. I make my list of goals for myself and what I desire for the day and the future. I put my trust in my Creator/God/Infinite being and then go about my day knowing that I am taken care of and all things that I pray for will come to me when I am ready to receive them.

This is how I have lived my life or at least most of it. I am someone who trusts and believes and all that happens to me is happening because I put the energy into that which I ask for and then let it go back to the universe. We are all made up of energy, protons, neutrons and electrons. Deepak Chopra speaks of this in his latest New York Times best seller "Reinventing the Body, Resurrecting the Soul: How to Create a New You". He says "reality comes down to atoms and molecules".  What does this all mean?

Given that 90% of Americans believe they have a soul is not to be construed in religious terms. It is the only constant thing that all hold true. Our souls are everlasting. They are the alpha and the omega the beginning and the end. God created us to be creators of our own destiny. He gave us the free will to choose who and what we desire to be in this lifetime. If we choose happiness and love, we are much better for it because positive always overrules negative. If we believe we can, we will and therefore we are capable of having all that we desire.

Take a look around in today's world at all those you know, the economy, global strife, global war and global warming. What then does this have to do with protons, neutrons and electrons? All these my friends is what we as a mass have created together. It's now time to step back and realease the negative energy and replace it with good.

Parts of a Digital Camera

Parts of a Digital Camera

Although film cameras are still used and have better photo quality, digital cameras have wider use these days. A digital camera is much easier to use than a film camera because of the LCD display on the back of the camera. This display is very useful for viewing the photo once it has been taken. If the photo comes out blurred or too fuzzy, you can delete it and take another shot. This cannot be done with a standard film camera.

The memory card used in a digital camera makes for using a digital camera much less expensive than a standard film camera and you can get twice the amount of pictures. These pictures can then be downloaded to a computer and shared with others over the internet.
